"Oh,for the love of fat", says the fat lady as she whips up a batch of cinnamon rolls.
I found this recipe in Vegetarian Times, thinking to myself that it should be somewhat healthy, because it is, after all, in a health-based magazine: sweet potato pecan cinnamon rolls. Yes, it is made with real sweet potatoes, and calls for vegan spread instead of butter; but the fat lady, in true Paula Dean style, brings on the butter--3 Tbps. to be exact, thinking all the while"these aren't so healthy anyway".
They are rising for the second and last time as I type this tell-taling memoir of indiscretion in the kitchen.
What is a person to do when presented with such splendid recipes in the middle of a cold dark winter??
Well...
eat them, of course!
